A recent study released by the National Alliance for Caregivers shows that more than 1.4 million children in the U.S. between the ages of 8 and 18 provide care for an older adult. Eighteen percent of them, roughly 250,000, are caring for a person with Alzheimer´s or other dementia.

To inform children about this disease and how to find help, our chapter developed a bilingual activity booklet titled Let me Help/Déjeme ayudar.
