Activities
- This one-hour program reviews approaches to Activity Based Alzheimer's Care and presents various types of activities that Care Managers can do with Alzheimer's or dementia patients.

Communication - This one-hour program explores common causes of miscommunication among adults who have Dementia or Alzheimer's disease. The course offers information about verbal and nonverbal interventions to prevent and reduce communication break down with patients.

Dementia Care Orientation - This two-hour training presents an overview of dementia and related issues. It fulfills the two-hour state training requirement for Certified Nurses Aides.

Dementia Care Orientation with Train The Trainer - This three-hour training presents an overview of dementia and related issues. It fulfills the two-hour state training requirement for Certified Nurses Aides plus one hour training for trainers.

Elder Abuse - This one-hour program reviews approaches to identifying elder abuse, as well as how, when and where to report it. The presentation also identifies state-mandated reporting procedures, appropriate resources and contacts.

Managing Difficult Behaviors - This one-hour program explores common causes of different behaviors among adults with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease. The course offers information about behavioral interventions to prevent and reduce problem behaviors.

Personal Care & Special Needs - This one-hour program explores the issues of personal care and addresses the special care needs of those with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

Overview of Alzheimer's disease and Dementia - This one-hour program gives an overview of the aging process, dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The overview of the aging process covers such topics as physical changes of normal aging, common illnesses of the elderly and psychological changes of normal aging. The overview of dementia and Alzheimer's disease discusses the causes and types of dementia.

Training for Dignity: Basic Advanced Dementia Care - Advanced Dementia Care is an eight-hour training that provides education about late stage Alzheimer's disease. Attendees learn how professional caregivers can work effectively with individuals and their families to address changing needs as the disease progresses.

Training for Dignity: Basic Dementia Care - This is a eight-hour Alzheimer's disease care training program for professionals interested in learning more about dementia and Alzheimer's disease and how to work with individuals with dementia and their families.

Training for Dignity: Basic Dementia Care Train The Trainer - This eight-hour training will provide attendees with the skills and tools necessary to replicate the Basic Dementia Care training with their own staff members. It is useful for staff developers and others responsible for training staff.

Training for Dignity: Dementia Care for Social Workers - A six-hour training that addresses recognizing dementia and Alzheimer's disease in the field, locating community resources and working with culturally diverse clients and families.

Working with Families - This one-hour program explores issues that arise for families and caregivers of those with dementia. Coping skills, problem solving, and communication techniques are presented in order to help families and caregivers effectively deal with the difficulties that arise when caring for a person with dementia.
