Up-to-date information about Alzheimer's disease, other dementias, and supportive services available for individuals with dementia increases your ability to be an effective caregiver and/or professional. The Alzheimer's Association distributes literature about dementia and offers a variety of educational and informational programs and classes for the community and caregivers. The Association also offers a variety of training programs for professionals. Our Chapter has a comprehensive multimedia library of books, articles, videos and audiotapes pertinent to memory, Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, and caregiving issues open to the public.
